Kraamzorg Careyn |
|
|
Kraamzorg Careyn (formerly known as Kraamzorg Delfland) provides at home care for newborn babies and their mothers right from your arrival home from the hospital or during the birth if you chose homebirth. Their staff monitor your health, keep your bedroom and bathroom clean for optimal hygiene around your baby and yourself recovering from birth. They teach you how to bathe and feed your child (bottle or breastfeeding), how to help him/her fall asleep and be comforted if they have colic. They help you manage guest visits and babysit older siblings if needed. Ask them about their other services such as renting breastpumps. Register with them as early as you find out you are pregnant to be sure to get the help you need. You will receive a visit at the end of your pregnancy to evaluate your need (language, will your family be around to help, do you wish to breastfeed). A number of hours of care will be determined according to your needs after the birth and what your insurance policy covers for you. Be sure to notify your insurer of your pregnancy and send them your request for the kraamzorg company of your choice. After your baby is born and you notify your insurer, make sure to find out how many hours of kraamcare you are entitled to if you have to stay in the hospital longer (caesarian, etc...)
